Terraces' flagship wine, the 2017 Rhyolite, has an inviting deep purple hue with aromas of ripe blackberry, dried plum, espresso, earthy tobacco and violet. The rich palate offers mouth coating soft tannin with flavors of black cherry, black currant, earthy black tea leaves, and Rutherford dust mixed with hints of subtle vanilla and clove. The higher percentage of Cabernet Franc shows with the aromatics and the texture of the wine. This impressive wine has a finish that lingers long after each sip.
