• Nose: Often shows a distinctive "noble reduction" (smoky, flinty, or matchstick aromas). Primary scents include white flowers, citrus zest, green orchard fruits (apple, pear), and occasionally subtle spice or oatmeal.
• Palate: Characterized by a stony, chiseled texture with high-toned freshness. These wines are typically medium-bodied with a "satiny" or "supple" mouthfeel that is balanced by racy, vibrating acidity.
• Finish: Known for being long, persistent, and often featuring a saline minerality or a "tangy" citrus-led finish. 

• 2022: Displays a tightly wound, flinty bouquet with notes of wet stone, apple, and carnation. The palate is round and supple but slightly denser than previous years.
• 2020: Noted for its elegance and "light green streak" in color. It features ripe lemons and apples on the palate with a precise, stony finish that is less austere than expected.
• 2019: Can show a bit more "grip" and phenolic weight. Aromas tend toward high-toned freshness with lime-style citrus fruit.
• 2018: Described as "chiseled and concentrated" with notes of citrus oil, oyster shells, and fresh bread. The "Les Perrières" bottling is particularly noted for its "juicy fruit" quality.
