Locations CA

California is a country unto itself, and fittingly, an appropriate addition to the
Locations family. By channeling grape varietals and inspiration used in some of
the import releases, we applied a Golden State approach to the blend. Regions
such as Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, and the Sierra Foothills contributed to the
wine ultimately resulting in a balanced and imaginative homage to its brethren.
The same formula of a simple idea, made complex with distinctive vineyards, and
an element of fun is what this wine is all about.

Winemakers notes
Densely purple hued, the wine reveals pleasing aromas of wild flowers, dark berry
fruits, plum, dried herbs, and subtle, toasty oak. The entry is profoundly rich with
exquisite mineral notes. Flavors of black cherry, dark chocolate, roasted coffee,
licorice, and boysenberry form an intense core. Soft and even tannins provide a
pure finish that i s highly expressive and everlasting.

California produces the majority of wine made in the United States. Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel and Pinot Noir dominate the wine production in California, but many other varietials thrive in the California climate. Many fine wines are produced in California using Mediterranean grapes.
