Citadelle Jardin D'Été (French for "Summer Garden") is a bright, fruit-forward gin inspired by the creators' summer gardens. At a highly approachable 41.5% ABV, it blends its classic dry, juniper backbone with additions of Charentais melon, whole lemons, yuzu, and orange zest.
- Aroma / Nose
Fresh and intense, opening with vibrant citrus (yuzu, candied lemon, and orange zest) balanced by classic green juniper, sweet cantaloupe, and floral touches of violet and fennel.
- Palate
Soft and silky mouthfeel. Yuzu and bright lemon oil are perfectly contrasted by the juicy sweetness of Charentais melon and tangerine, eventually evolving into warmer, spicier notes of nutmeg, angelica, orris root, and star anise.
