Product Description
Following Absolut’s historic continuous-distillation tradition, Wild Berri is built on a base of exceptionally pure Swedish winter wheat vodka and deep well water. It is infused exclusively with natural extracts of wild strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Because it lacks artificial sweeteners or added sugar, it behaves beautifully in cocktails, allowing mixologists and home bartenders to control the sweetness of a drink while injecting a complex, authentic forest-berry aroma and flavor.
Tasting Notes
-
Nose: Highly aromatic and inviting. Rich aromas of fresh-picked berries, sweet strawberry jam, and soft black currant are layered with subtle, elegant floral undertones.
-
Palate: Surprisingly dry and clean. Juicy, ripe wild strawberry hits the entry, opening up to tart blueberry and dark blackberry at mid-palate. A faint hint of citrus zest and a gentle, grainy wheat backbone keep the profile crisp and structured.
-
Finish: Medium, refreshing, and entirely free of sugary residue. It fades out with a clean, slightly tart berry whisper.
Pairing Suggestions
-
Light Starters & Cheeses: Pair with fresh goat cheese or whipped feta on toasted crostini. The vodka’s tart, dry berry profile cuts cleanly through the creamy, tangy cheese.
-
Savory Proteins: Surprisingly excellent alongside grilled duck breast or pork tenderloin, where the spirit's natural berry aromatics mirror traditional fruit reductions used with gamey meats.
-
Desserts: Complements a bright lemon tart or citrus bars by matching acidity, or pair with dark chocolate truffles to create a classic, luxurious berry-and-dark-chocolate contrast.
-
Service Tip: Serve it chilled straight from the freezer for a crisp neat pour, or elevate simple highballs by mixing it with lemonade, club soda, or ginger beer for a fiery, fruit-forward Berry Mule.
